Expanses

When we live at one with nature, we are nurtured,

Whether land or sea or sky,

The expanse inspires us and lets the soul grow.

It makes us alive and whole.

I am complete in nature.

Without the quiet of the wilderness,

The roar of the ocean

And the vastness of the skies,

I am not entire.

My soul cannot expand and flourish

And I do not appreciate life.

In the expanses of nature

I am closer to my God, who makes all things possible.

The rolling wilderness and the billowing seas

Draw me to them and to God.

I need to be absorbed by the expanse

To draw close to the spirit of humanity.

WE DESTROY THESE EXPANSES AT OUR PERIL!

How can a face convey so much

With a change of look?

The actor gives a little of himself mixed with character.

The eyes can cloud or shine

Showing a little of whose soul?

The mouth can smile, purse or glower

Deliveringa clear message of fun, sorrow,menace or love.

The whole face displays a portrayal.

How can a face hide so much

With a change of look?

The actor gives all, but little of his inner self.

They eyes convey fun but the mind is in turmoil.

The mouth shows love but the heart is broken.

The whole face marks betrayal.

How can a face confuse so much

With a change of look?

The actor tells much, but not of himself.

His face shows character; violent, cruel,weak.

The man is loving, kind, serene but strong

The whole face hides the man.
